Light has the ability to highlight objects and make them visible to the eye. Yet in as much as it illuminates, it also has the ability to obscure and take away information. In this series, I use light as an instrument to turn myself into something obscure thereby creating a new object and new identity within the space. Allowing the light to “eat into” the film, I attempt to cheat time in some way and push the relationship that exists between light and image making.
