My practice is concerned with the relationship between emerging and established technologies in lens-based media. Archival images, iconic artworks, and the minutiae of technological processes all inform my work. Vernacular photography has evolved rapidly through the constant availability of consumer image making tools. Digital developments have wrought changes in archival methods; as viewers subjected to a saturation of digital images it can be difficult to conceive of the photograph as object.
