BA (Hons) Photography

The BA(Hons) Photography course encourages an experimental, research based approach to photography within the broader context of fine art practice. The work made by students on the course represents a wide range of approaches that explore the boundaries of the medium and question photography’s potential in the new century. Rather than accepting that photography is only used to make images that can be read from the page or screen much of the work in this year’s degree show represents a deeper, more rigorous investigation into how lens-based media operate conceptually and practically.
