Nik Jones

Nik Jones’s current series of paintings depicts celebrities and world leaders alike. Set out in a grid format we are able to view each painting in relationship to another. This is a comment on our human condition and the relationships we hold with others. Jones believes that living in a city like London and being surrounded by countless numbers of strangers all day long can be bad for our relationship to the other. We begin to take other people, as precious and individual as they are, for granted.
