Two attempts to compose Molly’s portrait in the head of Leopold Bloom.Homage to James Joyce.
Being fond of portraits, I enjoyed working on paintings where I used medium impasto to create a textured background. The concept of the painting came to me after reading James Joyce’s novel Ulysses. My paintings are attempts to reflect the process of thinking and memory on Example of the novel’s main character.
