BA (Hons) Graphic Design

The work presented here of the 2009 Graduates of BA (Hons) Graphic Design at Camberwell, typifies the individual approach and ideas-driven project outcomes that the course is renowned for.

Here are real talents. Some author, some perform, some make. All of them take graphic design and make it their own. There is a sense that they are defining what graphic design is about to become. They engage fully in research, get knee-deep in process and keenly document it all. They learn fast and integrate their experience of the world in their work. They are passionate about pushing themselves and their ideas, to perhaps, well maybe just start to define new graphic languages. They will extend the graphic design vocabulary and make their ‘new’ the ‘commonplace’ in years to come.

A group of confident self-publicists, armed with integrity and growing professionalism. They are a crop of culturally savvy, entrepreneurial, individual voices. Distinctive personalities are emerging through each piece of communication, lacking only in arrogance. And, now that they have rehearsed, by bouncing ideas around the walls of the college and the galleries, cafes and bars of Camberwell and Peckham, they head off to perform their own Parkour on pages and screens near you…

We hope you enjoy their work. We hope you employ their work.
