Sophie Harman

Textile conservation has played a prominent part in my final year of organics conservation. My final project was the conservation of a Victorian bodice jacket from Hastings Museum which was received in a highly damaged state.
Prior to this was my pre-project for which I worked on a mixed media 17th Century French casket from the Cuming Museum. This project involved working with a variety of media such as wood, paper, textiles, metal thread and sequins.
