Takato Sasaki

My recent project, The Voice of Space is based on the analysis of subliminal values in space. What I have tried to achieve in this project is the creation of hidden dimension, lost and found spaces. I have defined ceramics as a drawing in three dimensions and used clay as one of the primary elements under the notion of art in ceramics. Through close communication and manipulation between my hands and clay I have tried to visualise my abstract ideas in space as three-dimensional drawings. The consciousness of this original logic in craft has made me realise the significance of personal interpretations of materials through the practical and speculative exploration.
