Shelter 1.2

My work is the redesign of the common bus shelter. I have addressed access for wheelchair users and buggies, while creating more comfortable seating. I have used a green roof consisting of low maintenance wild meadow grasses to increase green space. Finally I have introduced integrated colour changing lighting, this is in part to cut down on anti social behaviour, while also creating an instantly recognisable public facility. The lighting will also produce a homogenized street aesthetic.

The changing lights celebrate the cultural diversity of the city.
